Everyone has this special love for Penny Johnson Jerald, whether you love her from Star Trek, Castle, or 24 – she is one of your favorite characters to watch on screen. Not unlike her romantic interest (and his dance moves) Michael Beach from his well-admired roles in Aquaman, Sons of Anarchy, or even The Abyss. These two make Thanksgiving dinner a ball alongside Chris Marquette (Fan Boys, The Girl Next Door, Just Friends) and Ryan Schwartzman (Before The Lights Come Up, The Man In The Trunk).

I’m not going to go into detail on the sensational friendship between Amy Argyle and Jennica Schwartzman, because… I’m jennica Schwartzman. I’m biased towards Amy, I fell in love with her on set. She is just as joyful to be around as her mother-on-screen Penny. But the WHOLE CAST is just so fun and a classic arcade scene, ice cream eating left-and-right, an airport kiss goodbye, a painful break-up, a water-birth scene, and surprise heartwarming ending makes for the kind of movie you’ll want to rewatch year after year.
