Lizzie Donahue Shines as brave and bold Nina, Lindsey Dantes’ Lizzie is mesmerizing and perfectly cast. This short and sweet moment between historically excluded lovebirds is running because early lesbian centered films chose to walk. Pieces like this exist in as much joy as possible because of the good work of creators and artists peeling back the curtain for decades. Kudos to writer and director Shawna Khorasani for holding space and finding a place for brief and realistic intimate yet practical conversations surrounding shared lives.
